Dress Code

In an effort to create a classy, memorable evening,

we are asking that your attire reflects maturity and dignity.


 Formal wear required.
 
 
PERMITTED ATTIRE:
  • Tuxedo
  • Suit
  • dress shirt, sports coat, dress pants
  • Dresses
  • Skirt, blouse, blazer
  • Top hats, fedoras, or derby styled hats, religious head-coverings
  • ties, bowties, shawls
 
NOT PERMITTED:
  • Crocs, old sneakers, house shoes, and etc. 
  • Jeans, sweatpants, or ANY pants below the waist
  • Spandex
  • Head-coverings (other than listed above)
  • Gang/Drug paraphernalia
  • Airbrushed, spray-painted or ripped clothing
  • Low-cut dresses or deep/plunging necklines below the chest area
  • Open back dresses lower than the elbows
  • Midriff openings higher/lower than 1in from the belly button (this also applies to see-through material)
  • Dresses with hems/splits above mid-thigh
  • Sports Dresses
 
**NOTE:
Students MAY NOT wear a jacket, date’s jacket, shawl or etc. to cover inappropriate attire. Your attire MUST meet ALL requirements BEFORE adding any type of cover-up. You will be asked to remove any covering before entering the prom to ensure that the dress code standard is met. 
 
If you are in violation of the dress code policy,
you will not be admitted into prom and no refunds will be granted.
 
Policy guidelines must be followed through the entire dance.
No attire may be changed, altered, or removed once entering the dance.
 
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Dress code decisions will be at the discretion of the administration at the time of the event. 
 
If you have any questions about the appropriateness of your attire,
ask the administration or prom sponsors prior to purchase.
