Boys and girls, grades 2nd-9th had the chance to learn basketball basics from the NBA player and his team of volunteers. Burks coached, signed autographs, and interacted with campers all day.
Burks attended Grandview High School, where in 2009 he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year. He was selected by the Utah Jazz as the 12th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
