Teacher Bio
Stephen Fielder has worked as an educator for 24 years as both a teacher and an administrator. He taught math and social studies at Grandview High School (GHS) from 1998 to 2010. In 2010, Fielder became an Assistant Principal at GHS. After 5 years, he got the opportunity to become Principal at Meadowmere Elementary School. He served in this capacity for 6 years. Last year, Fielder began a new chapter in his career, once again teaching social studies at GHS. He is enjoying his second tenure as a teacher.
Stephen Fielder received his undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1998. He earned his Masters Degree in School Leadership from Baker University in 2006. Since then, he has received a second Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2008 and an Education Specialist Degree in Administrative Leadership for Teaching and Learning from Walden University in 2017.
Fielder has been married to Kelly Fielder for 23 years and has 4 children (Emily, Seth, Adam, and Joel). He currently lives in Independence, Missouri, with his family. Fielder loves to play and watch soccer, and he has a passion for trivia related to movies.
