High School Coach Reggie Morris Receives Paul Lambert Coach of the Year Award

The ceremony took place at Grandview High School at the boy's basketball banquet.  The award was presented by Larry Holley, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at William Jewell College.

 

This past season Coach Morris’ team finished with a 28-3 record and won the Missouri Class 4 State Boys’ Basketball Championship.  It was the first state title in school history. Prior to the state tournament, the Bulldogs won the Suburban Conference Blue Division Championship (for a 2nd straight year), the Blue Valley Tournament, the Shawnee Mission West Tournament and the Missouri District 12 Title hosted by Pleasant Hill. Grandview was ranked #1 in the Kansas City Metro and by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.

 

The 2017-18 season was Coach Morris’ 4th year as Head Basketball Coach at Grandview.  He has won 82 games at Grandview and 163 overall. Coach Morris was also named:

2018 Greater Kansas City Officials Association

Grandview ended the 2017-18 season ranked #1 in the  State of Missouri and nationally ranked #42 in the United States
