September 17th he will receive a nice award before the Nebraska football game Freedom will be honored with the Brook Berringer Memorial Scholarship! If you get a chance to watch Nebraska, Freedom is a starting defensive lineman (#91). Congrats to Freedom and his family!!
The Brook Berringer Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate football student-athlete who has at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, is involved in community service and demonstrates high ideals, excellent character and integrity. The scholarship was established in 1998 following the tragic plane crash and death of former Nebraska football student-athlete, Brook Berringer.
