GHS's Michael Robins Achieved Top Honors at the ProX Summer Showcase

The ProX summer internship program recognized the achievements of Kansas City high school interns at its second annual Student Showcase this summer at the Kansas City Music Hall.

Michael was one of over 600 high school students who participated in summer internships with over 125 employers in the Kansas City region through ProX. ProX is a regional collaborative that gives access to real-world professional experiences in the summer by offering paid internships to students aged 14 - 18.  The program seeks to build the infrastructure today that will grow and sustain the workforce of tomorrow.

Elite 8 = Top honors for the “Live Pitch” category via judging round and public vote and they earned the opportunity to live pitch at the Showcase to vie for the grand prize of $5000. The top 3 were awarded cash prizes, and the remaining groups from the “Elite 8” were not ranked but received a signed Chiefs Football.

Again, congrats to Michael’s high achievement with his real-world learning experience this summer!
