The Grandview High School Library Media Center (LMC) is just that: the center of the school. The school’s curriculum, teaching, and activities all rely on the library and the library's resources to build a foundation for learning.
The walls of the library media center hold a wealth of information about subject areas, recreational interests and “real world” topics. The ability to access this information is defined as “information literacy” and is the key to academic achievement and lifelong learning.
The GHS LMC is also host to technology such as the television wall with 24/7 news and information, the green room for creating short films, and the robotics table to name a few.
Students congregate before and after school in the welcoming environment to read and just hang out.
