Grandview High School offers both boys and girls wrestling, for information regarding these two programs, contact the Grandview Athletic Department Office at 316-5883. The first day of practice of wrestling is Monday November 1st and runs through the end of February. One of the most important objectives of our competitive wrestling program is to develop the skills and talents of each of our students. This emphasis creates a great opportunity for our students to develop to the point where they may obtain college scholarships enabling them to participate at the college level and work towards a college degree. Mario Quezada(Missouri Valley), Anthony Mariche(Barton Community College) and An'Joli Fard(Missouri Valley) all earned college wrestling scholarships to continue their education and further their wrestling careers. As a result, this focus on students’ skill development ultimately leads not only to the success of the individual student, but also to the success of our teams/organizations in competition.
