Bio

My early interests - and wonderful teachers - in mathematics and computing led to a college major in math. From there I pursued a Ph.D. at University of Wisconsin. As a lecturer, my classroom was transformed by online assessment and multimedia learning, I became an instructional designer and developer at University of Nebraska.

I joined Wiley publishers in 2002 where for 15 years I supported, trained, and mentored thousands of mathematics, science, engineering, and accounting faculty from around the world. My responsibilities included customer success, digital product design, social media and web development, and project management.

In AY2019-20, I led the middle school STEM program at HALB, teaching engineering, design, and coding for 300 students.
