Ashlie Ashmore

Mrs. Ashmore obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Production in 2013. She spent the next 3 years working as a stagehand with IATSE Local 204 as well as touring with local corporate production companies. Despite the glamour of working with famous acts and touring the country, she found teaching much more fulfilling and enrolled in a Master of Arts program. She graduated with an MAT in Secondary Education in 2016. She then taught in central Arkansas from 2016 - 2018 before moving to the Kansas City, Mo. metro. 

 

After exploring what the Kansas City Metro had to offer educators, she joined the Grandview High School faculty in 2020. Mrs. Ashmore currently teaches Senior English and AP Language & Composition. 

 

In her spare time, Mrs. Ashmore enjoys spending time with her family and friends, crafting, playing with her cats, and exploring the world through podcasts, books, and documentaries. In August of 2022, Mr. & Mrs. Ashmore recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary and welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Kepler.
